Note: The latest version of the Transportation Intranet Portal that I migrated from ASP to ASP.NET
(VB.NET/C#) as part of my co-op at Canadian Tire’s Transportation and Supply Chain in Brampton. My co-op started on
September, 2002, and after 2 term extensions, finally ended on the last week of August, 2003. The intranet portal was
developed using user controls, third party graphing controls, and stored procedures.
It contains a collection of dynamically rendered reports and forms organized by Department (i.e. Finance,
Customs, Operations and Planning etc.) and access is based on group permissions. Features include excel and pdf
exporting, and for-printing versions.
